Kris Kristofferson's supergroup Highwaymen was a breakout search worldwide last night after the singer's passing was announced. The song Me and Bobby McGee was the top trending Kristofferson song
"when will my power be back on?" spiked +1,560% and was top searched in South Carolina, followed by Georgia, with Augusta the top city. Searches asking "how to help asheville nc" spiked +1,050% in the US over the weekend
"where is lake lure?" is the top trending "where is" search over the weekend as the dam there was threatened
Alabama Crimson Tide and Georgia Bulldogs spiked 1,650% and 1,500% in search over the weekend
The top state searching for restaurant over the weekend was Rhode Island, where Italian food was the most searched

Kris Kristofferson's death dominated search in the US last night. The top searched songs were:
Me and Bobby McGee
Sunday Mornin' Comin' Down
Highwayman
Help Me Make it Through the Night
For the Good Times
Kristofferson was top searched in Tennessee and West Virginia last night and outside the US he was most searched in Canada and Australia
Last night also saw spikes in searches for Kristofferson's movies. The top trending were: Convoy, Blade and A Star is Born
Lifestyle
Searches for "sweatpants that look like jeans" spiked +190% in the US over the past day
"pastel halloween decor" is the top trending decor in the US over the past day
Sports
"score of the alabama-georgia game" was the top trending score in the US over the weekend
Ryan Williams was the top trending athlete in the US over the weekend, and "how is ryan williams in college at 17" was a breakout search
Search interest in the WNBA All-Defensive Team Award spiked +550% in the US over the past day
